International Service Partnership with Rotary Club of Miami Airport, USA
One of the most rewarding aspects of Rotary is the opportunity to build friendships and partnerships that transcend geographical boundaries. Driven by a desire to experience the true spirit of Rotary’s global network, Kshitij Zaware established a strong and enduring relationship with the Rotary Club of Miami Airport, USA.
During discussions with Dr. Rajendra Dhamane of Mauli Seva Pratishthan, Kshitij identified a pressing need to improve living conditions for orphaned children residing at the institution. Recognizing an opportunity to create meaningful impact through international collaboration, he initiated and successfully coordinated a Joint Club Project between Rotary Club of Ahmednagar Midtown and Rotary Club of Miami Airport.
As a result of this partnership, 15 bunk beds along with mattresses were donated to Mauli Seva Pratishthan, providing comfortable sleeping arrangements for 30 orphan children. What began as a simple conversation evolved into a heartfelt international service initiative, demonstrating how Rotary connections across continents can transform lives.
Beyond the donation itself, the project reflected the power of global fellowship, compassion, and collective action. It strengthened international Rotary relations while bringing comfort, dignity, and care to children who needed it most.
This initiative stands as a testament to Kshitij Zaware’s belief that Rotary’s greatest strength lies not only in service projects, but in its ability to unite people across the world for a common purpose—creating hope and improving lives.
“Rotary’s true strength lies in its ability to connect hearts across borders. When friendship meets service, even the distance between continents disappears, and lives are transformed.” – Kshitij Zaware
